    Description

    New, high-strength, 17 spline axles fit 1958-1964 Chevy passenger cars with 8.4" third-member ONLY (not Corvette).
    Package includes 2 axles with 7/16" lug studs installed, 2 wheel bearings and 2 lock rings (shipped loose).
    These axles are made with 5" of spline, so you can shorten with a chop saw to fit narrowed housings.
    You must re-use your original wheel bearing retaining plates.
    Please check your axle and bearing dimensions as other years do not interchange.
    2.2" brake offset:  outside of axle flange (drum side) to outside of wheel bearing (4 hole retainer side)
    Axle lengths: 28 3/4" and 30 1/4" (outside of axle flange to end of spline)
    RW607NR bearing (3" outside diameter, 2 O-rings, sealed on both sides)
