  • Condition: These Sonor Pancake snares are getting harder to find, in any condition. This one has really nice hardware, the rims, tension rods, strainer parts, and lugs/fasteners are all in great condition. The shell is missing the sticker type badge(common). The original muffler was missing, so I adapted a Rogers external muffler, that does the trick. The shell has tiny dents around the middle of the shell, the rest was protected by the rims. The convenient lighting in the last picture shows the magnified reflections of the little dents, I noticed one tiny pock type dent. The layup looks like a steel shell(magnetic) with a nice thick chrome covering, and a zinc/galvanic type coating on the interior. The throw-off and butt assembly are complete and working well. I tried a few snare wires, generic Taiwan sounded the best, to me, go figure. Includes Rogers type thick snare cords. Evans ST Dry on top and Evans Snare Side 300 resonant heads are both new.
