    Description

    Sakae Rhythm 6.5" x 14" Beech snare drum in Silky Oak Gloss finish.
    This is a stunning snare drum, visually and sonically.
    8 plys of beech with an outer ply of Silky Oak (similar in appearance to bird's eye), 9 total.
    Sakae's Union lugs are solid and quiet and the strainer is one of the best made...super quiet and smooth.
    This is an early model, probably made in Sakae's first year making drums under their own name (while still building for Yamaha).  The interior badge is different than most and doesn't include the production year.
    It is in excellent (almost mint) condition.  Snare wires are Puresounds.
